A large LCD screen provides clear angle reading under all conditions, and thanks to simple 4-key operation, no training is required. When the instrument is restarted, the DTs display the azimuth automatically. Grate stability and reliability are provided by the RAB (RAndom Bidirectional) code technology that is incorporated in Sokkia's original absolute encoders. For horizontal and vertical angles, both models ensure accuracy of 5"/1.5 mgon/0.025 mil. 1" or 5", 0.2 mgon or 1 mgon, and 0.005 mil or 0.02 mil angle display units can be chosen that best suit a particular job.
